Chocolate French Fries Exist

Are you in Japan? Go get some chocolate drizzled McDonalds french fries! You know they have to be good. Dark and white chocolate over little fried potato sticks – I have to admit that it sounds pretty good. Though I don’t think they’re using bean-to-bar. Ha.

Chocolate yakisoba also exists

You know, just like the fries above, I’d definitely give it a try. Though I’m sure this is more of a “chocolate goo flavor” rather than real chocolate. (Meh, I’m such a snob!)

KetKot bars coming soon

Nestlé has lost a court battle in the UK over the shape of their iconic KitKat bars. Since 2010 Nestlé has been trying to trademark the physical dimensions of the bar to keep copies off the shelf. Well they lost. (Though they are appealing the decision.)

For the billionaire

If you need to buy a present for a billionaire, and you’re also a billionaire, you could do worse than this $14,000 box of chocolate. Six gold foiled platonic solids of chocolate dedicated to former stars of Hollywood for those with cash to play with.

Chocolate Survival

Always make sure you have a chocolate bar on you. You NEVER KNOW when you’re going to end up lost, hungry and needing lubricant. Whether you’re hiking, camping or sitting in the bunker chocolate will help you survive!


It turns out that adding mangosteen powder to cheap chocolate makes it more healthy by boosting the polyphenol count more than just a couple percent. All kinds of organic compounds are being added to chocolate to aid nutrient delivery. Science!
