Happy Sunday! Let’s look at the previous weeks highlights and lowlights in the world of chocolate.
Small chocolate makers are holding steady but large multinationals are sweating as sales in China don’t seem to be growing as they once were. Growth is slowing down across all fronts for the big players on the block. Every block it seems.
This artist makes people into sweet looking chocolate desserts. Not too shabby. Now this isn’t exactly the same thing but why not try it yourself? If you’re so inclined…
Is it possible that your chocolate has more of the rainforest in it than you bargained for? Climate change, consumption and demand. Those are the themes for the next century. Buy as wisely as you can!
Of course a lot of folks are aware of the issues at hand. There is no future if there is no chocolate as far as I’m concerned.
